CLASSES
Advanced Knowledge Academy has successfully completed its one year operation and has enrolled more than 20 students from diverse Muslim and non-Muslim background. We provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for preschool and school age children. Our focus is to provide a free stimulating early care and education experience which promotes each child's social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. All our students are incredibly delighted and enjoying their classes with excellent attendance.
One qualified teacher combine with one assistant have been assigned for the classes. All subjects are taught in English. The teachings are also facilitated by both audio and visual learning method. DVDs and television program are used for special learning of Alphabets, Math, Colors, Shape, Rhyme and Songs. Special charts and posters of various types of animal birds, insect's, flower, and transportation are used for visual learning enhancements. Toys such as tricycle, blocks etc are also provided on location. Students enrolled are provided with free uniforms, books and stationary and occasionally free snacks as well.
For the girls, we also provide free tailoring and sewing classes. Sixteen students have successfully completed the six month course and some have already started earning an income.
